Training & Academy

IMTA and its experts are experienced in maritime trainings, especially in the training of pilots, tugboat captains, masters of inland navigation vessels. The team can rely on experienced experts with long-term expertise in European Ports such as the Port of Antwerp. Both on-side audit and trainings as well as simulator based trainings can be organised.

The team and experts have expertise amongst others in Africa for training and operations and have been training international pilots and tug boat captains with simulator solutions.

In order to support its training division, IMTA has developed an Antwerp Maritime Training Academy whereby various services and expertise are offered towards the maritime industry for the training of international teams.
